At the end of August 2022, the President of The United States, in an address from Philadelphia broadcast to the entire country, declared, “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic," Many on both sides of the aisle found his message to be alarming and divisive, but one person in particular set out to kindly, frankly, and eloquently set the record straight about who exactly MAGA Republicans are. And we think you might be surprised, as his explanation and persona absolutely defies the public perception perpetuated by opponents and aided by the media.

Alma Ohene-Apare went viral in his video response to the president which included the assurance, “Mr, President, I am not your enemy.” We were beyond inspired and encouraged, so we had to introduce you all to him and learn more from him.
