Valerie is a classicist researching the points of contact between Ancient Greek and Bedouin poetry. Having a Ph.D. in Ancient Greek from the University of Bergen, Norway in 2016. Since then has been working on different ways to connect ancient poetry with modern people. Valerie has been on a few times over the years and in this episode talking about history and the evolution and connection to modern times, while also looking into the importance of knowing the real history.
