Are endocrine doctors, diabetes "experts," stupid, or just lazy?

As part of learning how to prevent dementia, I had to understand diabetes. I read all the papers I could, books too, and watched numerous videos. Then I decided to meet with some university "experts" to see what I could learn from them.
