In September 2022, Texas #GovernorAbbott, sent immigrants to Chicago because it is a sanctuary city. The mayor of Chicago, #LoriLightfoot called the move disgusting but also welcomed the immigrant into her city. About a week later the 64 immigrants were being sent to the Chicago suburb of #BurrRidge, without the mayor of Burr Ridge knowing.
