Kastelina On The Island Of Vir

One of the most famous sights of the island of Vir is the Venetian fortress of Kaštelina, which is located in the area called Kozjak.
This fortification was apparently built at the beginning of the 17th century. The Venetian authorities built it for the purpose of protecting the population of the Nin area and Vir from invasions and attacks by the Turks.
