THE GRAND REUNION IN THE AIR

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 King James Version
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

GOOD EVENING IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!

Allow me to ask these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that God will not only challenge you through them, but will encourage your heart as well.

How has God used the promise of a heavenly reunion to comfort you in your grief?

Why does the promise of a heavenly reunion give you great hope?

Over the last few years guys, these verses of scripture from this morning's devotional, as well as I Corinthians 15:51-53, have been an incredible encouragement to me and during some of the darkest moments of my life. When my father passed away in 2017, these verses were among many that God brought to my mind to let me know that I will see my father again, and that's something I praise God for. He also brought these verses to my mind, After I lost a very dear friend of mine who passed away unexpectedly. That regardless of the circumstances of ones passing, because these people knew Christ as their savior, I know for a fact I'll see them in heaven, and I can't wait to see them again. What I'd like to do right now is share some thoughts I have on this passage, as well as the precious promises that are contained within them that are for every believer, and I pray that you'll listen. As I close this post tonight, I want to encourage all my brothers and sisters in Christ with this precious hope, and pray that you will never stop cling to it. Know that if your loved one new Christ is savior, that God has not forgotten them, nor are they lost forever. On to the precious hope that God has given you, that you will see your loved one again, but also go out there and share the truth, the good news that is the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone in this lost and dying world. Don't be afraid to share the enduring hope that God has given you with others, so that they can have the same hope as you! And to those that don't know Christ, I want to invite you to know the hope that exists to be a redeemed child of God, and to do so all you need to do is admit your sin, confess it before the Lord, and allow Him to cleanse you.
