Joe Biden says he will attend the Queen's funeral

US president Joe Biden told reporters on Friday that he planned to attend the Queen's funeral.

Speaking to the press in Ohio, as he boarded Air Force One to return to the White House, Mr Biden said: "I don't know what the details are yet, but I will be going." He said he had not yet spoken to King Charles III, the late Queen's son and the new monarch.
