The way people react to old TV shows tells us a lot about current attitudes.

People think that we have stopped tolerating sex predators. Not really true. Mostly we have stopped respecting the rights of young people and joyfully started to rob them of bodily autonomy.

The TV show featured in this vid is Northern Exposure. It ran from 1990 to 1995 on CBS. It won many awards.

The 1960s were all about tearing down taboos. The 2000-2022 era is all about building up new ones.
