Fundraising is necessary in order to raise funds for the Mesquite Fine Arts Center to remain open and provide a place for the local artists to sell their artwork. The Virgin Valley Artists Association is also an educational center providing pottery and art classes for children and adults, workshops and other art groups. The classroom also provides a place for groups such as the MFA Photography Society and Virgin Valley Youth Players to meet.
