MoD Ru: Russian Troops Regrouping Near Balakliya, Izyum To Push Donetsk Offensive

1. The Russian Defense Ministry said Saturday that troops stationed near the eastern Ukrainian cities of Balakliya and Izyum in #kharkiv region were regrouping ahead of an offensive in the nearby Donetsk People's Republic.

"In order to achieve the stated goal of the special military operation to free #Donbass, a decision was made to regroup Russian troops near Balakliya and Izyum to push the Donetsk offensive," the ministry said.

The troops were pulled out of the #Balakliya and #izyum area in the past three days and are being moved to the #donetsk republic.

Официальный представитель Министерства обороны России генерал-лейтенант Игорь Конашенков сообщил о перегруппировке российских войск в районах Балаклеи и Изюма.

«Для достижения заявленных целей специальной военной операции по освобождению Донбасса принято решение перегруппировать российские войска, находящиеся в районах Балаклеи и Изюма для наращивания усилий на Донецком направлении», - сказал он.

Представительства военного ведомства уточнил, что для этого проводилась трехдневная операция по свертыванию и переброске изюмско-балаклейской группировки войск на территорию ДНР. Отмечается, что операция проводилась с отвлекающими мероприятиями.

2. Vitaly Ganchev, head of the civil-military administration of the Kharkov region, has called on all the people living in the region to evacuate to save their lives.

"I again recommend that all the residents of the Kharkov region leave the territory to save lives and health, as it is dangerous now to stay in their homes," Ganchev said in a video address provided to TASS by the press service of the civil-military administration of the Kharkov region.

According to Ganchev, representatives of the administration, who are working at temporary accommodation centers, are ready to provide refugees with meals, heating and medicines.
