11/24/2021 Worm Wednesday: Staring a new worm bin Vermicompost

I bring you along showing the steps How to start a new worm bin.
Equipment I used was a Ryobi drill and 3/16 drill bit
I used a 27 gallon tote and filled with shredded paper and cardboard, a few handfuls of peat moss that was wet, some sand for grit and some compost to help add some bacteria to the new bin. Vermicomposting with the red wigglers will produce rich castings with nutrients and bacteria for many different plants in the garden.
