What can you do when you find a five dollar bottle at Target? Why, turn it into a micro shrimp habitat of course. I jump-started the cycle with water and substrate from an existing tank, put in an airstone, and introduced an adult and juvenile neocaridina shrimp. They are doing well, and happily cleaning the plants and decor.

There is no filter small enough to get into the bottle, so I'm relying on the plants to serve as natural filtration.
