Forgiveness and Mercy. (Matthew 6:5-18)

Fasting has a lot to it; culturally it's very different from then and now. Even different circles have their reasons for doing it. I've done study on it, but not nearly enough to my liking. For now I have seen that fasting in the Bible is more a moment with GOD or an act done because HE showed up. Interrupt food, because GOD interrupts your life for HIS Glory kinda thing. Still, something that we shouldn't look like we are suffering about, kinda counter to how religious practices tend to do it... but we are called to be a different. ^.^
