Hermit Crab Bullying and 3 Ways to Avoid it to KEEP THE PEACE! Yes, hermit crabs CAN bully others in their habitat. BUT it's NOT NORMAL behavior!

Hermit crabs are normally quite social and peaceful!

There are a few main reasons that could CAUSE some bullying... so we have 3 ways to help avoid any bullying before it starts!

We've been creating hermit crab habitats, terrariums and vivariums for decades... this is our biggest hermit crab hack so far! We ONLY have Purple Pinchers because they are the most resilient of all the hermit crabs found within the pet industry. Most all of our hermit crab pets live past 20 years. We do not take them from the wild. Purple Pinchers are also known as Tree Crabs because when you see them on islands in the Florida Keys and in the Caribbean, they are found climbing all over trees and mangroves. They are natural explorers, climbers and scavengers and CRAVE lots of stimulation and wide variety of fresh healthy foods.
