The World Could be Anything - Terence McKenna talks about God and Man

Also referred to as "Man thinks God knows, God knows man thinks", this lecture follows a deep meditation on the topic of God's relationship with man, and man's relationship with God. The process by which knowing transforms itself from some kind of aboriginal apperception of the possibility of God into union with God. And the process that lies between these two points is the story of the evolution of human consciousness—or, more properly speaking, human history.

Terence McKenna advocated the exploration of altered states of mind via the ingestion of naturally occurring psychedelic substances; for example, and in particular, as facilitated by the ingestion of high doses of psychedelic mushrooms, ayahuasca, and DMT, which he believed was the apotheosis of the psychedelic experience.
