Biden celebrates the so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ while inflation rises in August 😨

On Tuesday, President Biden an event celebrating the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act. This was only hours after a dismal report showing that the consumer price index rose 8.3% in August from a year ago. 😱

Biden of course berated Republican lawmakers for not supporting the bill, saying it "fell to Democrats to meet this moment and deliver for the American people." 🤦

He also said "Today’s data show more progress in bringing global inflation down in the U.S. economy. Overall, prices have been essentially flat in our country these last two months: that is welcome news for American families, with more work still to do,"

Amazingly enough, it is as if the emperor has no clothes! The gaslighting and continued ability to be obtuse about what is right before our eyes seems to be a specific talent of this administration.

Phrases such as, "The border is secure", "This bill is about reducing inflation", "Employment and the economy are doing great!. seem to tumble from their lips while we see the country crumbling all around us.

Washington is broken. Here at Convention of States we have the solution as big as the problem.

An Article V Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to PROPOSE constitutional amendments.

1. Limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government (including the president)
2. Limit the terms of office for federal officials
3. Limit the ability of Congress and the president to spend and waste our hard-earned money
