Phaius tankervilleae propagation 2021 UPDATE | Gravel & Akadama for terrestrial orchid propagation

This is the last time I am going to attempt to propagate my phaius tankervilleae spikes. I have attempted propagating my phaius tankervilleae spikes for the third time, and each time I never got past actually getting the embryo plantlets that grow along the nodes of the spike, to develop further. Being a terrestrial orchid, roots need to go into some form of media, or water as soon as the nubbins grow. Same with any mature phaius tankervilleae. But, this time I used 2 different media for the attempt at propagating my phaius tankervilleae spikes of 2021, and it looks like one of them worked! ONE! 😆
