Partners?

If you have a partner, kind of pose the subject. If I'm not here, how would you run the company?

Because I'm going to tell you how I want to run the company if I'm not here. Have that conversation with your partner or whoever is of your number two person, the person who will be the backup on a rainy day but maybe long-term as well, you might be grooming somebody if you want to go off
and start a new company, a whole different part of your brain. You could easily mentor somebody into the position and mold them if you will in the way you want things done. There are different ways to do that rather than have them think, okay, I'm going to come in that Monday morning and we're going to do things my way. They will have heard your reasons why and seen you in action and why reinvent the wheel when there's already a plan in place.
