The Longgang Science & Technology Museum is part of the Red Cube cultural development, a key public cultural project in Longgang, together with Book City, Youth Palace and the Public Art & Planning Museum.

The Longgang Science & Technology Museum is the third Science & Technology Museum built in Shenzhen and opened in 2018. The museum has a construction area of 10,000 sqm and includes more than 300 exhibits.
