Brother Matthew preaching at Seattle Sounder's game

My friend Matthew and I recently went and preached the gospel at a Seattle Sounder's game. The hearts of men and women in Seattle are very hardened to the gospel for the most part but we keep plowing the gospel field and sowing seeds of God's word in faith believing that there will be a harvest one day. The bible says that God's word never returns void so we know that there is always fruit because people will get saved even if we don't see it right away. Most people think that you can sow the seed, water it, and reap a harvest in one day but that is simply not true at all. Preaching the gospel and saving souls is all about being faithful to preach the full counsel of God without watering down the gospel and trusting in God to do the rest. People that water down the gospel in order to try and get more people to accept it will almost always run the risk of making people into false converts and giving them false hope of salvation. If you preach the true biblical gospel you may not have large numbers of converts to brag about but at least you will know that those who do repent and believe the gospel are genuinely saved.

2 Corinthians 2:14-17

1 John 5:18-21
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. 19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. 21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
