An Inline or Op Profile (Operational) are ground attack profiles that allow for target acquisition, weapon accuracy and stand-off capability, increasing your chances of a successful attack and coming home alive.

The Inline profiles allow a pilot to pop up and gain early acquisition of the target area for a retarded weapons release (high drag). You must place the Velocity Vector (VV/aircraft symbol) long of the target (500 to 700m) to achieve a pass height that will accurate weapons effects.

Use retarded bombs for 15 degree and below attacks - slicks above 20 degrees.

Op Profiles see the aircraft manoeuvred at 3.3 nm (approx) 30 degrees right or left of the run in heading and then climbed to roughly twice the required dive angle (for 10 degree dive use 20 degree climb) then the aircraft is reversed through 60 degrees on to the target - again, set an accurate VV placement long of the target.
