📹 Western MD army aviation fire support group in combat action within special military operation

◽️ The main task of the fire support groups is to escort combined attack rotorcraft groups. In case of emergency, reconnaissance units are to ensure pilots' safety on the ground and to transport them safe to the base.

◽️ Risking their own lives, servicemen often help to evacuate civilians from the liberated settlements attacked by mortars and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as protect them while approaching and boarding to helicopters.

◽️ In addition, the units observe the facilities and the vehicles on the ground in order to detect enemy's firing positions while policing.

⏱ Fire support groups replace each other for operating in the sky uninterruptedly.
