Billy Joel and Bonnie Raitt do the honors today for the Segue City Special as we roll out of the studio for the weekend to make room for the Mayor and whatever it is that he has planned for his time at the helm. Summer is slowly coming to the end and yes, we know we're not supposed to wear white anymore because it's after Labor Day but our question is who came up with that edict?

That's kind of like that scene from "Bananas" where the new Banana Republic dictator declares everyone has to wear their underwear on the outside of their clothes...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
