Rushana - Selkie

Rushana's music video Selkie, a music piece based on the legends of the Selkies: Creatures native to the British isles, living most of her life underwater. In her natural form her looks are of a sea lion, which if she chooses can shed and walk on land as a human. She will hide her skin carefully because if any man finds her skin he will have power over her, and she cannot return to sea unless she finds it.
The children of selkies are drawn to the sea, and it's said that they never drown, have a wanderlust and are particulary lucky sailors.
