Abandonware is a concept that has plagued gaming for many years, but on the cusp of cloud streaming, and digital only formats being practically the only option for major titles... it is a problem that will soon grow exponentially worse.

Faced with a wakeup call as the result of a mid 2000's Lord of the rings game... I have realized that the older I get, and the longer it has been since my favorite childhood games... the more likely it becomes (sadly) that they disappear for good.
