Born a Mansion, Died as a Nursing Home

RiP and Aidan team up to explore an abandoned nursing home that has been left to rot for almost two decades.

A Bavarian-born furrier had this beautiful mansion built in the late 1800's. It was later converted into a nursing home shortly after WWII. The city has declared that the house should be demolished. One company offered a fee of at least $2 million to dismantle the house, package each piece, and mark where it came from so that it could be built at another location if someone purchased the house. Other developers have thought they could restore it and turn it into office space. But, with the condition that it is in today that might be too difficult to do. Only time will tell the fate of this once beautiful mansion.
