We lost our Brakes!

While we were heading out of Tennessee, I did a typical brake test to make sure the breaks on the 5th wheel were working. To my surprise, they were not.

The problem ended up being that a brake line had been rubbing against a tire;
Causing it to rupture, and all the break fluid leaked out.

We were pretty close to our RV dealership so we made plans to drop in and get it fixed.

The manager, Ken Rife, made a quick work of it…
He pulled the tire, replaced the break line, secured it to the frame, added brake fluid, and I helped him bleed the brake lines.

We had a few more things worked on while we were there,...
then continued on with our journey.
