Yuliy Borisovich Briner, known professionally as Yul Brynner, was a Russian, French, Swiss, and American actor, singer, director, producer, model, photographer, and writer, who’s best known for his portrayal of King Mongkut in the Rodgers and Hammerstein stage musical, ‘The King and I’, as well as a number of stoic character.
