After a mass burial site with over 440 bodies was found in Izium, that was recaptured from Russian forces by Ukraine, the country's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said some of the dead were tortured with ropes around their necks and broken limbs. Several bodies had their hands tied behind their backs. Zelenskyy called it a "proof of war crime by invader".
