This video is created by Karen Cole of Legal Minded Friends to provide you with information about the Strike Action being taken by Criminal Solicitors & Barristers who are making a stance against the the Legal Aid Payment Scheme as the payments that are being paid only cover the bare minimum of the cost, the it actually costs to represent clients. Because this area of Law is under paid it is not attracting new professionals in the field. Those that are Criminal Advocates, on the Legal Aid Scheme are not taking on as many cases, if this continues the the Criminal Justice system will come to a stand still.

We discuss what this all means, what you can do, and we listen to a heartfelt Criminal Barrister who tells his personal story and the affect it is having on those who rely on the Legal Aid Scheme.
