Mini vases, mini roses, and a cannon blast!

Today was day one of Fort Wayne's Johnny Appleseed Festival--if the weather is nice, we try to go every year. This year the weather was close to perfect! My wooden spoon vendor wasn't there this year, so I saved a little money there! I bought 15 different flavors of honey sticks and--in a stand full of carved aquatic birds--I found the perfect fish for our Spanish class story on Monday! Oh, and the cannon...watch till the end! Nearly jumped out of my Skechers on that one!

I almost bought an adorable little mini vase for $10. But the fish seemed more necessary. When I got home, I remembered I had a box of tiny little cobalt blue glass tincture bottles. Had fun finding things to fill them with: Michaelmas daisies, marigolds with lavender, and mini roses with orange mint.

Mini everything is cuter, right? (Oh, those baby goats at the festival!!)
