Austrian Cobra Task Force (EKO Cobra)
After the attack of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, Austria established the Cobra Task Force to carry out various anti-terrorism tasks.
The unit consists of 450 members who have served in the Austrian Federal Police Force.
As with the training of each special force, Cobra Task Force training includes months of professional courses, focusing on shooting, language, fighting, tactics and assault training.
