I Bought an Abandoned Tiny House DIY OFF Grid Renovation

We bought an abandoned tiny house off grid in the south west of France in 2018. The house was classed as inhabitable, has a third of an acre of land, fruit trees and a derelict barn. In 2022, We quit work for 3 months and took our kids out of nursery and school in the UK so they could attend French school whilst we worked on our small house with family and friends. Completely DIY renovation!
The house has a composting toilet, only 2 x 330w solar panels, 2 x leisure batteries and gas bottle cooker. We also had an old generator for power tools. Who needs the grid?
