Maybe you’re like me

Maybe you’re like me. I have felt guilt and shame from some of my actions throughout my life. Even though I was already a Christian. I wanted so badly to follow Jesus in a way that would be pleasing to Him, yet I failed, and it was so confusing!
Walking in His ways is my desire, and what I had to realize is that we ALL have internal struggles because we are ALL sinners! We may think our path will be straight to perfect, righteous living!
In reality, we get a little closer to Jesus, He changes our hearts, and over time, we are transformed more and more into the image of Him.
And if those old ways may creep their way back in, we repent, Jesus gives us grace, we spend time with Him, we offer ourselves grace day in and day out, and continue walking with Him, leaving all the guilt and shame behind because this is the grace God gives every one of us!
