I finally resolve the pointless day. I cheat. But seriously, I waited for the game to fail the quest, and it wouldn't. Previously I had a quest at the Warwick Homestead that I couldn't do because Roger was in one of those stupid tanks and I couldn't talk to him -- before I could resolve the situation the game failed the quest for me. Not this time. Oh well, when it comes to playing this game, the internet is your friend. We also do some rail road business, and end up back at - you guessed it - Vault 88.
