Athearn SD40-2 FINAL REVEAL

We have completed the total rebuild of the Athearn blue box SD40-2 that has an Athearn RTR SD40-2 shell. This locomotive is straight DC with everything built in to convert it to DCC with no problem at all. You could drop in a decoder at any time and be ready to roll. We used SMD lights and fiber optic strands for the lighting. The REVOLUTION 1 motor shows how slow you can really go!
