The Nasdaq is going to offer custodial services for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.The institutional interest ie really off the charts. Bitcoin has caught the interest of WallStreet and it wants in. Recently the biggest asset manager firm Blackrock has entered the crypto space as well. The Nasdaq and Blackrock will be big for institutional investors because they are companies that have been around for awhile and offer some sort of reassurance to its clients. Investors are weary of crypto exchanges that run outside of the U.S. . There are to many scams and no real regulations that woud help investors feel comfortable leaving large amounts of money on foreign exchanges.
