All Police Power over Health, Safety, Welfare, and MORALS in one man as long as he wants whenever he wants to pretend an emergency is somehow Constitutional Idaho law? He claimed this power for over 2 years and the legislature did nothing about it. This is a legal martial law dictatorship and he carried it on for over 2 years! What happened to the guarantee of a republican form of government in the Constitution? (Article 4 Section 4) Brad suspended laws and rules, including those about parental rights when children are in the custody of the state, saying they don't have to have any standard of safety and the parents don't have to know where their children are or have a way to contact them!!! So the legislature can just give up their power to make laws? What happened to one branch not assuming the powers of the other? The Governor now gets to erase laws and make new ones by executive order? He gets to decide how to spend the money?

I do not consent. When tyranny is law, rebellion is duty.

I don't agree with Wasden's interpretation of the law. One man besides Jesus having unlimited power indefinitely cannot be consistent with the laws of nature's God. There is much I think he should have done to sue or censure government officers who violated the rights of the people of Idaho saying it was necessary to save people from covid germs. His silence shows that he thought it was lawful for me to get arrested for not wearing a mask at the courthouse! Am I dishonorable for being suspicious of a person who thinks it is lawful for a governor to order people to stay home and not work to provide for their families because their work is not essential? Who says you can't go to church or have a pastor come over, but you can go to War Mart or the Liquor Store or have a painter come over?

I'm glad we are getting a new AG, because I don't think he interprets the law correctly, but it's more important that we get a new Governor. There is no one I would rather have than Ammon Bundy as Governor. Bundy is not after power, but to pull it down so the individual can be free. He is not after money, but to let people keep their money and prosper so everyone can have more time for family and to pursue their dreams. He will use the resources of the state to help secure freedom for every person. Freedom is foundational for safety and prosperity.

I may still disagree with how Wasden interprets the law and have suspicions about him being a statist, but perhaps he was sincere about being against concentration of power and being concerned about the federal monies robbing our children and grandchildren.

What do you think of state's having power over our moral choices, since the US Constitution didn't enumerate the power to control morals to the federal government. I don't think that just because it isn't enumerated to the federal government, that it automatically belongs to the state government! What about individual rights? Shouldn't you get to decide what you believe is right and wrong and act accordingly as long as you don't violate another's rights to life, liberty, and property. Isn't freedom of conscience part of liberty?
