The only thing which prevents a tyranny is the action of the people to retain and exercise the right to vote. It is the right to vote which defends and guards every other right from being trampled, subverted, ignored or removed.

​We may disagree on many other issues and matters of state, local or even national politics, but the truth remains, when we fail to lead by voting we do the greatest disservice, we will one day lose the right to vote.
