What does your prayer life look like? Do you intercede for others? When you do pray, how do you pray? (Dan. 9:1-12) Pastor/Professor Andrew Marquez considers the intercessory prayer of Daniel. Having examined the Scriptures, Daniel became aware that it was time to pray. The 70 years of exile prophesied by Jeremiah were coming to an end. Daniel sets himself to prayer. He covers himself in sackcloth and ashes, faces toward God and begins to pray. Daniel followed the Scripture by considering the words of Jeremiah and Solomon. When we pray, we should make certain that our words and actions are in accordance with Scripture.
