My name is Denise. I'm 58 years old. I'm a firefighter in a metropolitan city. I came down back in January, which is nine months ago. I had 25 million in each knee. I thought I was going to have to retire. I was having a lot of trouble with stairs at work. I have to carry a lot of weight, move people up and downstairs, a lot of equipment. And I was getting to the point where I couldn't really do even half of what I could once do. And after I got the 25 million about two to three months later, I started really being able to exercise, I was pain free. I had a little bit of achiness and I just attributed that to the growth of tissue. Originally, I was stage four, nearly bone on bone. I had the thinnest amount of tissue possible to even be able to be a patient and be injected. And I just got my MRI back today. Here I am nine months later. Now I'm a two to three on my bad knee and a solid two on my right.
Really amazing changes. I have been kind of fearful to go back to full activity until I had another MRI and was sure of what happened. And so now I'm here for the 50 million in each knee to make sure that I get the most that I can out of it. And I'm going to go back. And in 60 days I'm going to start living my life how I want to live it, which is exciting.
