Four Ukrainian regions, which are mostly under Russian military occupation, began voting on Friday on whether to join Russia. Russian President Vladimir Putin has indicated the regions will be annexed if the local people vote in favour to join Russia. The voting, which will end on Tuesday, is taking place in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
