Latest News | 2 killed in typhoon; thousands without power | #shorts #news

Typhoon Talas struck central Japan on Saturday, unleashing torrential rains and severe winds that left tens of thousands of households without power, as per local media. Two deaths due to the storm were also reported. Wind speed at the centre of the typhoon was recorded at about 65 km/h with peak gusts of about 90 km/h, Japan's meteorological agency informed.
