Here at Faytene TV, we would never say that our hope as a nation is in government, but at the same time, it IS our conviction that as Canadians who love our nation, we have a responsibility to stay engaged for the sake of our collective future. Many of you, our faithful viewers, were shining examples of this when you stepped up to vote in the CPC Leadership Race.

Over 350,000 votes were tallied to determine the next leader of the Conservative party of Canada. This, compared to the 81,389 Canadians who voted for Justin Trudeau to be the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and 90,635 who voted for Erin O’Toole just two years ago.

On Sept 10, 2022, this year's Conservative party of Canada leadership race came to a close with the announcement of Pierre Poilievre becoming the new leader. If the Conservatives win the next federal election, he will be Canada’s 24th Prime Minister.
