It was 1978 in Bloomfield. Residents said they had been seeing them for years.
Somewhere between 25 and 50 people had admitted to spotting them.
When WLKY went to the town back then, people opened up about their experiences. One woman described seeing six balls of light above a treetop forming shapes.
