The Old Courthouse is gone! This Mystery Building is Rising Up!

The Old San Diego Superior Courthouse at 220 West Broadway is a building almost every San Diegan has been in for one reason or another. Whether it was for Jury Duty, contesting a ticket, or something worse, it's hard to forget the outdated style if the entire compound. The floors were cold and hard, the doorways too small, the walls had decades of paint chipping away. The asbestos ceilings were a nice touch too... Of all the Buildings I have seen demolished over the years, its safe to say this is the one I will be saddened the very least about.

There will not be a new Courthouse in this space. The new and improved Superior Courthouse is a 22 story building directly on the next block north and 1 block west.

What's rising from the dust is a new Mystery Building! A Commercial Office / Residential Building that is sure to be an interesting fit in the neighborhood of Law and Order.. and Hotels.
