Fortunately, these Big Tech giants march to their own drum and don't necessarily operate as a group. And there is evidence that Apple and Google, the major gatekeepers of the Internet can in fact shut down competition. So far they've used this capability to our benefit. I will talk about two specific events where this occurred.

Unfortunately, it also consolidates power into these gatekeepers and they can abuse that. But that will be in another video.

For now, we'll discuss the shootouts between the different big tech players.
