July 24, 2022: New body-camera video released by Volusia County Beach Safety shows the chaos and damage caused when a car barreled through a toll booth at Daytona Beach and hit a 5-year-old before winding up in the ocean.
5 people were in the car. The driver and a 13-year-old were treated and released, but the 39-year-old woman died at Halifax Health hospital July 28, 2022.
Two other children, 10 and 12-year-old boys, were flown to Arnold Palmer in Orlando. The 12-year-old died the night July 28, 2022.
