Iranian drones regularly attack US and coalition forces in the Middle East. The drones have slipped through heavy US defenses numerous times and hit targets on US bases. Iranian drones have proven their worth during several wars in the Persian Gulf countries. Shahed drones have repeatedly attacked military targets and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
