Shooting at an Izhevsk school: 13 Killed, 20 Injured, the attacker committed suicide

The Ministry of Internal Affairs for Udmurtia confirmed the death of six people in a shooting at an Izhevsk school. The department also said that the attacker committed suicide.

“Currently, the police have found the body of the man who opened fire. According to reports, he committed suicide. At the moment, 6 people are known to have died and about 20 injured from his actions,” the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the regional authorities said that an unknown person entered a school in Izhevsk and opened fire, killing the security guard.

There are victims among children, the authorities added.
